The MEF organised a Briefing Session on the Guidelines on Corporate Social Responsibility on Friday 23 October 2009. Mr Raj Makoond, Director of the Joint Economic Council and Mr Kris Seeboo the CEO, CSR Secretariat elaborated on the practical aspects of the CSR guidelines relating to the areas of intervention, non-qualifiable activities, approved corporate programme, approved NGOs and approved national programme. Some 175 members attended the session.
