The MEF plays a vital role in ensuring that economic, labour and social policies promote a business-friendly environment that favours enterprise development, economic growth and employment creation.

To this end, the Federation contributes actively to policy formulation in the interest of Mauritian employers by way of various submissions to Government.

The MEF carries out regular research on enterprise related issues and provides insightful analysis of economic and labour market trends.

The MEF also works to assist its member employers in making informed management decisions through expert guidance on business regulations and the provision of up to date economic data.
